The Ópus Reykjavík Circle

The Ópus Reykjavík Circle is a community of people who believe in the importance of artistic exchange, new ideas, and bringing exceptional artists together in Reykjavík.

Ópus Reykjavík is a non-profit cultural organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for artistic exchange and collaboration in Iceland. The Circle helps make these encounters possible. Its support allows us to invite exceptional international artists to Reykjavík, develop new works and collaborations, create opportunities for learning and exchange, and continue building an ambitious and open artistic platform in Iceland.

A central part of Ópus is creating connections between international and Icelandic artists. We initiate collaborations within Iceland’s cultural scene, bringing together artists, composers, performers, and creative practitioners to develop ideas and projects that might not otherwise come together.

Members of the Circle are also the first to hear about upcoming Ópus programmes, performances, collaborations, and special events — receiving news and announcements before they are shared more widely.

By joining the Ópus Reykjavík Circle, you become part of the community around Ópus — helping us create the conditions for new ideas, new collaborations, and meaningful encounters to happen.

Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference and is warmly welcomed.
