Ópus Reykjavík - Óp. 1 presents a masterclass with Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter and pianist Bengt Forsberg.

The masterclass will take place at Reykjavík Cathedral (Dómkirkjan í Reykjavík) on Tuesday December 8, between 13:00 and 16:30. Participants and audience members will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of song interpretation and gain insight into the artistic approaches and decades of experience of these distinguished musicians. She has received four Grammy Awards, numerous further Grammy nominations, and countless other awards and distinctions.

Bengt Forsberg has long been regarded as one of the most distinguished and sought-after pianists of his generation and has enjoyed a fruitful musical partnership with Anne Sofie von Otter spanning several decades.
